Present research study aimed to investigate the relationship between parental solicitation, parental control and adolescence depression among adolescents in Selangor, Malaysia. Questionnaires in bilingual were distributed to school-going adolescents in several areas from select district in Selangor and had successfully collected 85 sets of complete responded questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS, version 21. Results revealed that maternal solicitation, paternal control and maternal control were found to have positive significant relationship with adolescent depression. Maternal control was the unique predictor to predict adolescence depression. Key Words: Solicitation, Control, Depression, Adolescence, Parent, Family System Theory
