As there is a paradigm shift of the status of HR department in the organisation from staff function to strategic partner, a growing concern towards manpower is witnessed in the organisations. When human resources are focused, the concept of organisational culture cannot be ignored. After 1980 gradually the concept of organisational culture received wide recognition from the researchers and practitioners since last few decades. Many researches on organisational culture reflect a positive correlation between organisational culture and job satisfaction. Organisational culture is treated as building block of any organisation. There are many approaches contributing towards organisational culture out of which OCTAPACE is treated as one of the important models. OCTAPACE is one of the important components of HRD climate which stands for Openness, Confrontation, Trust, Authenticity, Proaction, Autonomy, Collaboration and Experimenting. This paper is an attempt to review the existing literature on OCTAPACE culture to provide a depiction on various findings.
