Transdisciplinary approach towards learning is the exploration of a relevant issue or a problem that integrates the perspectives of multiple disciplines in order to connect new knowledge and deeper understanding to real life experiences. This approach towards learning gives a student a wholesome experience, wherein the student learns to know, to be, to create, to relate, to live together and thereby grow up to be a life long learner. The transdisciplinary approach teaches a student to learn, unlearn and relearn. This research paper makes an attempt to higlight the importance of transdisciplinary approach and the need of it to rekindle the dying faculty of humanities. In the present social scenario the values, ethics, morals etc. are all at stake all over the world. It is strongly recommended that the need is to teach humanities to the students at every level. But, the problem of redundantness of the subject with lesser prospects ahead has to be tackled with the transdisciplinary approach. The attempt has been made to provide a model to help the teachers of the schoolsto make the subjects of humanities interesting and relevant. Keywords: Transdisciplinary Approach, Humanities
