Everyone has the same ( 24 hours) time. There are two things that stop you from managing your time ie. you and everybody else. There are different techniques for managing time for different people. On realizing this fact, every engineering student should question himself or herself the following three questions. 1. What does he want to become? 2. Where does he want to be in the coming five years? 3. What should he achieve by the end of that academic year, both personally and professionally? If these questions haunt them continuously there may be some change in the management of time which would result in a fruitful way of achieving their goals. People of the past were good time managers because they were good planners and excellent executors of their tasks. The first generation people managed time by using notes and checklists. The second generation people were based on calendars and planning books. The third generation people managed their time by clarifying values, goal setting, prioritizing weekly, daily projects. The present generation is so tricky that they are excellent at managing time but the difficulty lies at managing themselves.
