Indian writing in English or Indian English fiction has been extensively acknowledged as the most pertinent form for the ascertainment of the interpretations and the experiences in the current world. R.K. Narayan has made relevant distinctions as a regional novelist in English literature, perfecting the genre. The striking aspect of Narayan‟s writing is the unaltered rendering of the Indian personality. A close understanding of Narayan‟ works can be carried out by the better understanding of his art.
