Tribal students of VIII class could read and understand the short stories, non-detailed text, recite a poem and could improve reading ability by reading books and magazines. In tribal students some of could speak fluently in English, but majority could not as there was the influence of mother tongue while speaking in English. So, they could not crack jokes.However, the proper motivation and practice should be needed to the students to overcome shy and fear those who have inferiority in English in the tribal students and make them to speak the language correctly without the influence of their mother tongue. So, teachers of English have to concentrate more on tribal students than others in the classroom.. Keywords: tribal, improve, influence, motivation, inferiority and concentrate.
