This paper deals with the Synthesis and properties of pure CdO and Co doped CdO nanoparticles by facile co-precipitation method. The influences of Co incorporation on structural, morphological, optical and electrical properties of the CdO nanostructures were investigated. The XRD patterns found the cubic structure with polycrystalline nature of all the samples and no impurity phase was observed. The FTIR vibration spectra confirmed the composition of the product. The surface morphology of the films was studied by FESEM analysis which indicates that the samples expose different morphological features with respect to the cobalt concentration and 9 % of Co doped CdO sample exposed the attractive morphology of hierarchical nano flower. The compositional of the elements present on the samples were confirmed by EDS studies. The results are reported and discussed.
