Globalization has brought so many changes in many fields. We have seen several changes in the field of education, there will be enormous changes in classroom teaching and learning. Teaching / learning second language / English is a complex process needs total involvement / encouragement and support in the area of difficulty the teacher of English has to be innovative as he / she faces different problems in different situations in the classroom. The main trust of an English teacher should be at making the students learn English without feeling any burden or fear on their minds. Technology based classroom may be good solution for the students as it creates a lively classroom atmosphere and facilitates teaching / learning using technology and its authentic material not only facilitates learning but also it arouses learners interest in interactive activities in ELT in classroom. So, to motivate the students to concentrate and participate in the classroom (activity), teachers need to used creative and innovative methods. ELT has tremendously changed over the last one decade and language teaching methods underwent numerous changes. Now ELT including its four skills i.e. LRSW has been in zenith position. So every teacher must have an innovative thought that brings an innovative method to teach English language in an effective manner. This paper discusses the importance of the technology using in teaching English language and current innovations in the field of teaching learning English.
