NLO material (non linear optical) material with Barium nitrate crystal used up. It shown a larger impact on Laser technology and optical storage technology. Because the world slowly turned to become an optoelectronic world. For this NLO necessary impact. Barium nitrate single crystal from Aqueous solution as been shown through solubility test. It is found that addition of EDTA in Barium nitrate solution stabilizes the supersaturation which yields good quality crystals. The crystals also well developed faces. The grown crystals found to be hard and unhygroscopic. The last study done on doped Barium nitrate single crystals, Its experiment data for X-ray powder difffraction of EDTA doped barium nitrate also given in the statement , so it has been confirmed by both powder XRD and FTIR analysis the absence of EDTA into the Barium nitrate crystal lattice. From this research it is found that this crystal can be used as a good optical window between 240nm to 2000nm. Also the fundamental Absorbtion peak observed from UV -V is spectrum for Barium nitrate shows that is is high energy band gap having band gap of 5.167eV. Keywords: NLO material, EDTA, Laser technology, supersaturation, UV -V is spectrum
