The present topic introduces the role of fantastic in the works of Dominique Demers. Particularly, the article takes into consideration the theme of fantastic in the trilogy “La Grande Quete de Jacob Jobin”. This fantastic series consists of three volumes, namely: “La Grande Quete de Jacob Jobin- L’Elu”, “La Grande Quete de Jacob Jobin- Les Trois Voeux» and « La Grande Quete de Jacob Jobin- La Pierre Bleue ». This trilogy deals with the life of Jacob Jobin, and his great quest of saving a fairy princess, belonging to an unknown world called The Hidden World. The present article focuses on the role of fantastic in the trilogy “La Grande Quete de Jacob Jobin”.
