The society must be a peaceful hub and provide a very safe and clean environment in all aspects for the growing children. The actual scenario in the present day world is not the same as expected; the society poses numerous hurdles and distractions to the children thereby retarding the growth of a child. The children are the seeds of the tomorrow’s face of the planet earth; if there is no proper society for a child to grow then the future of the earth is at stake. This paper describes about most of the issues faced by the young children; all these issues faced are very common and found in every part of the globe. The various issues which the children face in their lives are child neglect, child abuse, teenage pregnancies, child trafficking, military exploitation of children, child labor. All the above mentioned are still put in practice hence knowing about these is the knowledge about the current scenario of the hurdles put in front of the children by our own society.
