The locus of control is an integral part of social learning theory (Rolter, 1934). It refers to the degree to which individual perceives the vents in their lves as being a consequence of their own actions and thereby controllable ( Internal control ) or as being unrelated to their own behaviours and therefore beyond personal control (external control) .Reaction to frustration is cognitively controlled the present investigations try to study the effect of induced frustration on externals and internals while responding to Rosenzweig Picture Frustration. sample of the study consisted of 40 subjects of classes VI, VII and VIII. This sample was taken from Bal Vidiya Mandir. The sample consisted of children between the age of 11 to 14 years of boys and girls. The Intellectual Achievement Responsibility Questionnaire was used. It was designed by Crandall, Kakkovsky and Crondall (1962) and Pareek – Rosenzweig’s Picture Frustration test ,Rating scale was used . It was hypothesized that if reaction to frustration is cognitively controlled than externals would be emotionally effected by the induced frustration. On the other hand, internals would show No change in their reactions due to induced frustration. The results obtained support these hypothesis. Externals have been found to be more extra aggressive than internals. Internals are more more intraggressive than external are . External easily aroused by the environmental manipulations while internals resist in their opinion and attitude.he locus of control is an integral part of social learning theory (Rolter, 1934).
