The study aims to identify the Training need of senior officers of Drugs control department of Kerala. Senior officers of the department include Enforcement officers and Analysts who are engaged in the testing of drugs. SWOT analysis, Cause effect analysis, and Functional analysis of senior officers were carried out and Performance problem analysis report was finally made out. Priority training needs were listed out and training plan of senior officers were find out. The prime training needs of senior officers were assessed as training for court procedure, training in the latest amendments and developments of enactments and training in Investigation and enquiry procedures.
