Work Life Balance is a satisfactory level of involvement of an employee in the organization between the role of his work in the organization and other multiple roles of employee outside the work in connection with personal, family, professional and societal life. Organizational culture that encompasses formal policies and informal practices, official discourses and hidden beliefs about the ideal worker plays a very important role in the work-life balance of an employee in the organization. The present study is an attempt to identify the factors which are very much sensitive in connection to the balance of work and family life of an employee in the organization that influence culture / climate of organization and WLB of employees in the business organizations and examine the aspects of work that interfere with personal life and vice versa and also to find out if there are any differences across the responses of sample employees selected for study on such personal work related factors that influence organizational climate and work-life balance of employees in the corporate sector. The study has also tested the hypothesis that there is no significant variation among the influence of personal factors, work related factors on culture of organization as such WLB of the organization among the responses of employees selected for the study and also there is no significant influence of job and work environment on the perception of employees regarding the WLB of employees via, good organizational culture in the organization similarly, personal relations with family members and others on the perception of employees regarding the WLB of employees via, good organizational culture/ climate in the organization. Further it suggests that working organizations can increase employees’ satisfaction by providing more opportunities for team work and flexible schedules, developing a family friendly organizational culture and offering assistance with child care.
