Accordingly, the Government of India has been laying stress for scientific use of fertilizers by the farmers in all successive five years plans. It has also laid actress for expansion and doubling of fertilizer plants in order to reduce the capital investment and out going of foreign exchange. The government besides making its own investment in their industry, it has encouraged the private and co-operative investments also. We got very good response from farmers. Many farmers got awareness about various measures to be taken for soil rejuvenation and they showed satisfaction towards IFFCO's efforts to organize such important programme.
