Banking industry is the fastest growing financial services sector. It provides innumerable services including various types of financial services to customers in return for payments in one form or another. Banks have started including planning and marketing techniques in their banking operations in order to be able to offer their new services efficiently. The nature of the exact relationship between service quality & customer satisfaction and its effect on the saving pattern of HDFC Bank customers has been analysed in this paper. This scope of marketing by HDCF Bank has been considered under service marketing category. Influence of marketing strategies on consumers’ investment decisions has also been analysed. .
