India has frequently been criticised for being too difficult to do business in, even though the potential of the country is enormous. GST has generally been accepted without a second thought, and this paper will attempt to find out whether the Indian public have been truly caught out by the Modi Wave. The GST in India will be implemented by the central government and by state governments, both bodies will work concurrently to ensure the smooth conduct of the tax. However, there are a number of reasons why GST may not function as designed. This paper will provide us an understanding and a conclusive analysis regarding the entire framework of GST indeed.
