There Capital Punishment, also known as the Death Penalty and formerly called judicial homicide, is the abstract “Capital Punishment” or “Death Penalty” is the highest level of punishment awarded in any society or democracy to maintain law and order. But killing another human being in the name of justice no better than murdering someone. We should focus on eliminating the crime not the criminal. In India, the "Rarest of the Rare" theory is upheld, and death sentences are frequently reduced to life in prison. In contrast, China is the only nation in the world where the death penalty is still widely used, with over 1000 executions occurring year. But still India has executed a total of 4 criminals from the period of 2002 to 2015.Both the countries have various similarities in the procedure and law of capital punishment, but in China once the death penalty is awarded it cannot be revoked. The United Nations (UN) declared that "life is precious, and death is irrevocable" in opposition to the idea of the death sentence for this reason. Furthermore, according to the UN, murdering another person for the sake of justice also eliminates our humanity. Who lives and who dies is not for us to determine. Thus, rather than putting someone to death, we ought to adopt an alternative strategy, namely the reformative strategy, to help them better themselves and go on to have peaceful lives. The term "on death row" refers to a prisoner who has been found guilty of a capital crime and is awaiting execution. Though there are other ways to carry out executions than beheading, such as hanging, shooting, lethal injection, stoning, electricity, and gassing, the name capital (lit.
