Quality of work life is an essential aspect in motivating and increasing the productivity of the employees that helps the organisation to achieve its objectives. Present study is conducted to find the correlation between the perceived quality of work life and the demographic characteristics (Age, Education, Experience and Pay). The data was collected form five public sector banks from 250 employees by questionnaire. Factor analysis and bivariate correlation technique has been used to draw out the results. Ten factor of quality of work life have been identified namely job satisfaction, life satisfaction, Intrinsic job motivation, high order need strength and health & safety provisions, intrinsic job characteristics, privacy and treatment, self-rated anxiety, training practices and social image, social integration and growth opportunities and work involvement. Life satisfaction is negatively correlated with age, experience and salary. Work involvement found significant and positively correlated with experience and salary. All remained factors have no significant correlation with studied demographic variables. Keywords: Quality of Work life, QWL, Employees.
