In this modern era, instant food products play a vital role in satisfying this attitude of modern people. The advantage of instant food products is that they have changed the life style of urban population and also rural people with the help of mass communication and advertisement. Even though the usages of instant food items are increasing day by day in our life, there exists some negative aspects in healthy social life. In modern times the life style diseases such as blood pressure, diabetics, and cholesterol are increasing rapidly in the society, which seems to have direct relation to the use of instant foods. Like a coin having two sides, Instant food also have its own merits and demerits. Kerala is the state having highest percentage of literacy and education in the country, but there is only a little awareness regarding the pros and cons of Instant food to the majority of people. This study made an attempt to analyse the relation between factors affecting consumer’s preference of Instant Food Products in Thrissur District.
