Employee Engagement is the level of commitment and involvement a employee has towards his organisation. Construct of employee engagement is built on foundation of earlier concepts like job specification, employee commitment and organizations citizenship behaviour. In new aspect, it shows two way relationship between employer and employee compared to three earlier concepts. Employee engagement is the most recent form of strategies used in organizations to increase the productivity and commitment of organizations and employee, etc. The study focuses on the factors of the employee engagement in relation with the organizational performance focusing on non-financial factors. The author of the paper has tried to give you an idea about employee engagement and its drivers which plays a crucial role in organisations success.
