The tradition of English Teaching has been drastically changed with the remarkable entry of technology. Technology in education is most simply and comfortably defined as collection of tools that might prove helpful in advancing student learning process. Technology provides so many options by making teaching interesting and productive. The modern technical devices such as –Radio, TV, Computers, CD ROMS, Electronic Dictionary, Power Point, DVDs helps to facilitate the teaching –learning process by making it more interesting and effective. The last two decades have witnessed a revolt due to the onset of technology which has also influenced the industries and the way people interact and work in the society. This rapid rising and development of information technology has offered a better pattern to explore the new teaching model in English teaching. Technology, when used appropriately, can help the English and language classroom a spot of active learning and critical thinking. Teachers can adopt technology resources to develop and mould instructional materials to better meet individual student needs. .
