This study is focused on laptops used by teachers for teaching listening skills especially for Arts college students. The present study aims to examine the current ELT scenario with special reference to teaching and learning of listening skills. In the present study, the researcher has tried to explore the possibility of evolving an alternative approach in developing listening skills.This paper discusses about the suitability of the alternative approach in improving listening skills.
