The main objective of this paper is to look at how far the multimedia can make a difference when it comes to teaching English pronunciation to the engineering students. Besides, we will examine the role of the teachers while teaching English pronunciation to the engineering students by using technology, especially software. The aim of this research is twofold. At the outset, we present the utilization details of the software, which is used in the English Communication Skills lab (ELCS). Furthermore, we will see the role of the teacher and how far the teachers are successful while using such software. A qualitative method design was used for this study. The qualitative method consists of interviews with a set of volunteer sample of four English teachers. The use of qualitative method provides a clear picture of the role of English teachers when it comes to using the Walden Software for teaching English pronunciation instruction. Four faculty members from the English Department participated in the qualitative aspect of this research. These four faculty members had voluntarily participated in the semi- structured interview sessions. In the light of the obtained findings, we can conclude that the pronunciation Walden software changed the English teachers' roles from a distributor of information to a catalyst of information. This massive change gave them more independence when it comes to teaching English pronunciation to the engineering students.
