This study gives an insight into Whitman’s delineation of the eternal enigma of the creator, creature and creation in his epic Leaves of Grass. This article is an attempt to dig out the similar and dissimilar religious ideologies of the Hindu and the Western thinkers, regarding the triangular relationship among the trinity mentioned above. To substantiate the study various citations from the text have been culled which draw suitable comparison and present apt propositions. The study also throws light on the threads of spiritual development in his poetry. Thus, side by side placing the religious ideologies and Whitman’s delineation of the triangular relationship of the creator, creature and creation, some similarities between the binaries of the creation of the world were disclosed.
