The present paper focuses on two important factors ‘English Language Teaching’ and ‘Culture’. ‘Culture’ and ‘language’ are the two faces of the same coin. Culture represents language, language of a person proclaims his culture. The language represents the changes and reformations of culture and culture reflects the refinements of the people of the society of which one is a member. If the text which is prescribed for teaching English language represents the culture of the learners, it will successfully motivate them to learn English and make them active participants of learning.
