This research paper explores the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in teaching English as a second language. As global communication increasingly relies on English proficiency, traditional teaching methods often fall short in meeting diverse learner needs. This study investigates various AI-driven tools and applications that enhance language acquisition, including personalized learning experiences, adaptive assessments, and intelligent tutoring systems. By analyzing case studies and empirical data, we demonstrate how AI can facilitate real-time feedback, improve engagement, and foster a more interactive learning environment. Furthermore, we discuss the implications of integrating AI in language education, addressing challenges such as data privacy, accessibility, and the need for teacher training. Our findings suggest that AI not only complements traditional pedagogical approaches but also empowers educators to create more effective and inclusive language learning experiences. Ultimately, this paper advocates for the strategic incorporation of AI technologies in English language teaching, highlighting their potential to revolutionize the educational landscape and better prepare learners for a globalized world.
