This paper aims at exploring different methods of teaching English language to the learners of English as a second language. Often, it is an exigent task for the teachers to decide which methodology should be applied to teach English language in an efficient way to the learners. Therefore, this paper looks at the pros and cons of various methods in vogue today and based on that the teacher can decide accordingly which method or approach would best cater to the needs of their respective learners. This paper also aims to give some suggestions and recommendations to teachers to implement the most apposite method suited to their learners.
