Patrick White a renowned novelist of Australian Literature employs in his novel Voss, Laura and Voss to show the vigour of nature. Nature kindles in them a real spirit for natural powers. They realise the vitality of nature and its resources and it forces the humanitarian as well as destructive weapons. Patrick White clearly manifests how people are different towards nature, thereby leading to great havoc. At one point when man realises his union with nature, he becomes one with nature. Patrick White also attempts to explain both the calm and violent picture of nature through the novel Voss. Patrick White discusses many issues that revitalises nature. He focuses exclusively on nature and narrates the ways that nature presents as a backlash for the injustice and the cruel activities that has been meted out towards it. Patrick White writes how the evocating power of nature influences man to undergo self-realisation and to go hand in hand with nature. Nature is to be adopted to have a humanitarian way of living as well as to transmit some resources for the future generations. Patrick White is considerably influenced by ecology and he renders Voss and Laura in the novel Voss as representatives to present his concerns on ecology.
