The paper deals with middle class urban Indian woman. Rupa Bajwa brilliantly captures and paints the unpainted house and each of the characters living in it is vivid expressions. Characters are haunt with financial struggle, and live lost in earning and managing within what they earn. The scarcity of money leads to souring of relations; to the extent it drives people with death.
