In a multilingual and multicultural country like India, classes of mixed ability groups are a feature of every small town and village. There are few universal truths and there are a few universally accepted truths & English is certainly one of them. English is an International language and is accepted in all six continents, it is evident that English is a dire need of present scenario. In the globalized world, today we have witnessed on many occasions that globalization has been beneficial only for the rich wherein the poor is still striving and suffering. In the world of globalization, it becomes mandatory to equip oneself with all the measures and treasures of worldwide acceptance. Out of which the most important and the top one is ENGLISH. English has become the soul of success today. Without which it is practically impossible to fly high in the wide sky. We teach in a college located in Jaipur and the student population there differs considerably in their abilities many of them from rural areas. It often surprises us when we hear that many of the less able and unable students have scored first class marks in their qualifying examinations, although spellings of simple words are like a puzzle for them then why they can’t communicate in English? Reasons:  Dominance of rot methodology is highly prevailing in rural area.  Rural students are Incompetent in COMPREHENSIVE SKILLS.  Poor pronunciation and non English speaker faculty members.  Absence of activity based learning
