In modern times a gap has appeared between literature and education system. The solution to this problem lies in a reinvestigation of how literature teaches us regarding education system in general and teaching methods in particular. As one of the 20th century great writer and educator to think about educational system and use literature as a tool to explain it, Tagore narrated his philosophy on education in the short story ‘The Parrot’s Training’. This paper focuses on the relevance of educational thoughts of Tagore in 21st century as engraved in the short story. Key Words: Parrot raining, Tagore’s Education, 21st Century Teaching etc.
