Culture in its various forms now serve as a primary carrier of globalization. It is my article that as Indian culture did not permit women to accept or gratify their basic needs. It is a mystic journey for women to fulfill their needs. Women writers today seek to imagine the independent survival of women, focusing mainly on the question of identity crises for women in a parochial society. Preethi Shenoy certainly arrests our attention in these theories that portrays various process involved in the expansion of personality from childhood to old age. Shenoy in her novels” Lifeis what you make it”, ”The secret wish list “ and “ Tea for two and a piece of cake . Different Women faces different hurdles in their lives. Women plays different role as a daughter, mother, wife and sacrifices her life to the family. My journal investigates into mystified journey of women through the characters Diksha, Ankita and Nisha and the impact it has on the directly affected.
