The strife torn Kashmir, which is also the most beautiful place on the earth, has been a source for many writers for their novels and other issue based writings. Scores of authors have penned novels and essays on the fractious history, geography, politics and society of the Kashmir Valley with a special reference Kashmir Independence. But Basharat Peer is a deferent one from other writers as he was born and brought in the Kashmir valley. He became a reputed journalist and author though as a teenager he even wanted to become a terrorist. The modern education has shown a profound impact on his life, on his attitude, philosophy and helped him come up with a novel A Frontline Memoir of Life, Love and War in Kashmir: Curfewed Night. The present paper focuses on the impact of the education with a special reference to English language on a human bein.
