Since four decades Keki. N. Daruwalla has offered his readers a plethora of images in his vast canvas. In his quest, seeks to forget the tedium, darkness of narrow provincialism, nationalism, probe the present unrest, anxiety, offer a valuable insight to the society and realize the eternal truths of life, in poems one after the other. He is the voyager like Ulysses who set out his journey and in the vast sea of life he travels length and breadth of the world to experience and grow to materialize the treasures hidden within him which he likes to share with the world in poems covering the entire gamut of his mind .The poet feels a deep urge to let us know the reality of life and the existence which he fathomed by diving deep into life from his journey which I in humility quote the lines Of Insights from The Map Maker: “We all live within death; And death lives within us” Key Words: liberal humanist, cosmopolitan man, metaphysician, philosopher.
