The Ottoman Empire had been established in 1299 and letter became the largest Empire of the history. This Empire covered many minority groups under its umbrella with different religions and language. The Jews peoples were one these minority groups, they were living in various parts of the empire. The year of 1492 was one the darkest era in Jews history, in which the Jews of Spain and Portugal had been expulsed from their own country. When the edict of expulsion came out, the Ottoman Sultan,Bayazid II, welcomed Jews with a loyal order. From that time until the end of Ottoman Empire in 1922, Jews always were a part of the Empire. In this long time, some major events happened in their relations with the Ottomans, but they almost were happy to live in the Ottoman Empire. In 1922 the last Ottoman has been dismissed from his place but the Jews remained as the new Turkish republic citizens. This article tried to briefly explain the Jews relations with the Ottoman Empire. Good economic situation of Jews as well as their good education condition, were two important factors which helped them to manage their situation and make a good life for themselves.
