Truth Simply Is… is the collection of essays on philosophy by Osho Rajneesh. Being the popular work the present paper attempts to focus on some of the significant literary elements observed in context of this anthology. Present study is the rhetorical study of ten essays included in this book. Initially there is focus on average narrative mode used by writer in these texts. Diegetic mode of narration supersedes on mimetic mode. The narrator Osho himself is said to be the self-conscious narrator who comments through all thoughts and expressions in these texts. Further the discussion is contrast between Utopian and Dystopian thinking of Osho; the literary elements which are directly based on the content of the text. The text by Osho can be said as multi-text as its contents are derived from no.of sources and religious books. Later the poetic language and concerned stylistic variations are exposed in this study. The philosophy of life is the major pillar of literary influence of this work, as this is the main fuel for literary aesthetic. It is concluded that the present work includes literary elements in both poetic and prosaic forms. The work itself becomes new genre in literature.
