The importance of English language has always been the area of wide focus especially in India. English as a second language teaching in India implicates various pedagogies and practices. In this present research article, the view focus is shifted from the importance and practices towards the assessment of the acceptance of English as a commoner’s language. The study of the impact of the English language has often been only concentrated towards it as an employable significance, but here the assessment is of its reach to the masses and the commoners’ adaptability to it as a day to day language.
