English is necessary for mobility, for social and economic purposes and for job opportunities. It is the language that opens the doors of global market. As an international language, English has a great ‘surrender value’ through the world. We need English for social transformation and modernization. We need to benefit from the resources of the English language. That is why there is a great demand for courses on Business English, Management English, English for Information Technology, Technical writing, Spoken and Written English, Medical transcription, and so on. In teaching English as a second language, the goal is instrumental or communicative. English is used as a vehicle of communication within one’s own culture and social context. Various methods and approaches are followed in teaching and learning English as a second language. This article aims at learning English by Content Integrated Approach. Content Integrated Language Learning (CILL) refers to an approach to second language teaching in which teaching is organized around the content. It emphasizes the principle of acquiring content through language rather than the study of language for its own sake. The article exposes how a subject, not only English, can be studied through CILL method by providing theories underlying this method and the various activities and materials involved in this approach. Learning any subject certainly promotes one’s four language skills (LSRW) is described vividly with many illustrations. The article would encourage any learner to love English.
