The resplendency of Indian aroma is adorable. Indian cultural values and the way of living are the authenticated sources from Vedas which is like wet suit to the individual’s moral fiber. This led Indians raise their head and shoulders among other countries. The avaricious British smelt the generosity and penetrated into the holy soil of India as merchants. They forward a step ahead and fraudulent the high spirited value system of India. This gave room for adaptation of western culture. Since more than 250 years Hindu dharma has been humiliated. In spite of all English language and literature to Indians is a blessing in disguise. The protagonist R.K.Narayan has taken this as device and propagated Indian culture to the west. The close knit of family circuits sets the boundary for an individual character. He/She has been monitored from the very next moment of conception. Indians perception of living is “We”. The epics Ramayana and Mahabrata put forward the altruistic service made by the heroes along with heroic deeds. As R.K. Narayan belong to the soil of India, his each novel is contribution to the vindication for his motherland. His style of writing is divergences in the beginning and convergences in the end of the novel. Each novel suggests a yard stick to the moral conduct of an individual. The intention of Narayan is to draw a line between love and lust, joint family and nuclear family and Indian Ayurveda and allopathy.
