Arvind Adiga’s The White Tiger, which was awarded the ‘Man Booker Prize’ in 2008, revolves around the socio-cultural themes. The novel gives the glimpse of the ideologies and behaviors that is developed by the present generation. The novel portrays the rational over view of Indian society and comments on bitter picture of existing caste system, corruption, class discrimination and inequality in power distribution.
