The recent thesis make on effort to study Aundhati Roy’s “The God of Small Things” shows the truthful image of Indian women and their misery, trouble unhappy and psychological suffering like mental or physical pain , persecution and state of disgrace and loss of self-respect in male dominating society. This novel shows the women’s battle for society to survive without welfare. She also painfully desirous of another’s advantages, and she struggle for her identity in this jealous society. An Indian women is fully used to relaxation of mind. She is full of upwards and downcast method it can be very distinctly seen in some of the women characters like Ammu, Rahel and Margaret Kochamma.
