Soft skills are as important or often more important than technical skills for an individual to succeed in life. Synergy can be achieved only when both the hard and soft skills are combined in an exquisite manner. Through soft skills overall attainment of life skills is made possible, in the era of sweeping changes of globalization and industrialization. As high performance practices become the organizational norm, it indicates that the workforce requires the necessary education and training foundations to contribute effectively. The growth in employment in the services sector has also resulted in an increasing need for soft skills. All graduates require the skills to interact in a positive manner to be able to create and maintain a safe and dignified working environment.
