Narratives are a powerful force of sharing individual stories in endeavoring a clear understanding of the human existence and experience. In the opinion of Gayatri Spivak, it has always been the narratives through which a literary critic has negotiated. Narratives portray the true image of daily life, though fictitious. Hence it is essential to go through the literary outputs of the Indian English so that careful observations on the different perspectives and challenges of Indian women can be made. It also provides an opportunity for the literary critics to scrutinize the narratives effectively drawn from the individual experiences.
