The comic strip is a multimodal text containing the image and text to convey the message and the meaning to the readers. To completely understand the concept of multimodal text first we will look at what is multimodality? Secondly, we will see how a comic strip is a multimodal text? And, at last we will try to figure out how the notion of multimodality came into the domain of translation studies?
