The innovation of information and communication technology (ICT) has challenged traditional teaching and learning and resulted in emergence of a new concept to replace the traditional approach. This new concept is known as E-learning. E-learning is generally the transfer of knowledge and skills between two or more people through the computers and networks. ELearning overs a wide set of applications and processes, such as web-based learning, computer- based learning, virtual classrooms, and digital collaboration. It includes the delivery of content via internet, intranet/extranet (LAN/WAN), audio- and videotape, satellite broadcast, interactive TJ< and CD-ROM (ASTD Learning Circuits, 2007). This article focuses on various e-learning processes and their role in curriculum transaction. A virtual classroom(VCR) is an advanced learning environment, created using internet, computers, supplicated video conferencing devices, in which either teacher is not physically present (for remote learning) or students are not present (distance education)in the classroom. On the other hand, digital collaboration is using digital devices, open source data and cloud technology to share knowledge, manage information and contribute content to communities of people regardless of time or place. Mobile learning also called m-Learning, refers to the use of mobile, portable, and handheld computing devices in learning. This article will also judge the effectiveness of these e-learning applications in the development, distribution and enhancement of learning Outcomes.he innovation of information and communication technology (ICT) has challenged traditional teaching and learning and resulted in emergence of a new concept to replace the traditional approach.
